In 2006, rackAID founder Jeff Huckaby, who now serves as CEO, restructured the company with one goal in mind: Simplify IT services. With offices in Jacksonville, FL and data center operations in New York, Dallas, Washington DC and Seattle, rackAID leverages enterprise level technologies on behalf of our clients. These technologies streamline operations, improve service reliability and maximize the value we deliver to our clients.

Jeff Huckaby
CEO
Jeff’s 16-year career trajectory has taken him through the centers of academia, medicine and science, probing for DNA sequences at the University of North Carolina using Unix, modeling genetic systems at Yale and Cambridge with Linux, and launching his first company, BioMedical Computer Consulting. Along the way, he met a lot of smart business owners whose great ideas were reined in by online operations, email or web services that got in the way of growth. Since founding rackAID, he’s worked with clients ranging from one-man shops to organizations with hundreds of employees and become adept at honing in on the core IT needs of small businesses.
Juli Zurovec
IT Operations Manager
While working in web site design and maintenance for BioMedical Computer Consulting in 1998, Juli encountered system administration and Linux. Finding that her perfectionism met the demands of IT management, she pursued Red Hat training, then put her skills and knowledge to work at rackAID. Juli’s obsession with detail and passion for problem-solving translates into a better night’s sleep for rackAID clients, who know their operations are running smoothly.
Tabitha Zapata
Customer Account Manager
In her work with small and mid-sized companies over the past decade, Tabitha’s responsibilities have been all about getting the details right, from administrative duties to the painstaking work of organizing records for IRS audits. With degrees in both accounting and business management, she’s adept at keeping the rackAID office running smoothly. Her most important tasks, however, are keeping rackAID clients happy by promptly resolving issues and keeping the rest of us in check with customer satisfaction surveys to assure our staff exceeds expectations.
