Also, long time server monitoring software vendors, such as NimSoft, are releasing their server monitoring tools as SaaS solutions. The scope of monitoring capabilities, pricing, and ease of use varies considerably between these vendors but most offer free trials so you can take a test drive to see if they meet your needs.

Early this week, I was at Hostingcon 2010. This is the hosting industry's annual conference. This years attendance was up considerably and the conference featured several new speakers, including yours truly.
