We've added several feature to make it easy for you to keep up with our blog updates. We highly encourage our clients to subscribe to the company news section as postings in there may be relevant to your services.
Why Subscribe?
If you are a client, we are going to start posting company service announcements in our blog rather than on our helpdesk's news section. We wanted to have all of our news in on place. Price changes, holiday hours and changes to our policies will be noted in our company news feed.
If you work in the hosting industry, which you likely do if you are using our services, then we may touch on a topic that can (hopefully) help you out.
For example, recently we received several tickets on email bounces for emails our clients did not send. As it turns out, this was a growing spam issue. After seeing several tickets on this topic, I decided to write about email bounces and backscatter.
While we are talking about email, you will find numerous email related posts in our blogs and we plan to add more. Email seems to be the number 1 support issue, so we hope to provide information on how you can do some self-diagnostics.
For example, back in 2005, I wrote one of my first post on email issues. Unable to send email provides a good background on why email sending may fail.
RSS Feed
We maintain an RSS feed of the blog. We use Feedburner to help make it easier for you to integrate our feed into your your favorite RSS reader. Our feed easily integrates into Google Reader, My Yahoo and others.
My favorite method of subscribing to blogs is Firefox's built in XML feed system. If you click on thisxml link and you are using Firefox, you can drop the blog feed right into your browser's bar.
Email Subscription
You may subscribe to our blog via email as well. We use the MT-Notifier system so that you can easily receive email updates when we update the blog. We also have a company news subscription if you just want our news feed.
Blog's Roll
Over the course of the next few months, we plan to ramp up our blog's roll in our operation. We want to use it to get feedback from our clients, industry experts, potential clients and anyone interested in issues relating to running a IT business. We will also start commenting more on products and services that we use internally as a small business.
If you have any comments, just post them to the blog. We try to reply quickly. Of course for detailed technical assistance, you should use our helpdesk.
