cPanel 10.9 and Fedora 7 End-of-Life Updates

June 18, 2008 9:46 AM

Both cPanel 10.9 and Fedora 7 have reached their end-of-life. Support for Fedora ended June 13, 2008. Support for cPanel 10.9 ended June 16, 2008. At this time, no additional updates will be issued for either Fedora 7 or cPanel 10.9.

cPanel has also announced that licenses for 10.9 will no longer function after August 1, 2008 and they recommend upgrading to cPanel 11. Fedora recommends moving to a current version, either Fedora 8 or 9.

Although we recommend upgrading, we will continue to support systems running these versions. You can always check out our Supported Systems pages to verify that we provide support for your OS or control panel.

Remember moving to current systems is the only way to take advantage of security updates and patches. Please open a free estimate with us if you would like assistance sizing a new server or coordinating a migration plan.
