Parallels has released Plesk 8.4. With this new version, Plesk continues to be our preferred control panel for its stability, performance and great automated tools.
Database Backup
Individual databases can now be backed up or restored on a per-domain basis.
DomainKeys Support
Within mail preferences, outgoing email can be signed using DomainKeys.
Parallels Plesk Billing
ModernBill, now Parallels Plesk Billing is now integrated into Plesk.
In addition to these new features, Parallels has added support for Fedora Core 8. ProFTPd and Horde versions have been updated and support has been added for ColdFusion 8 and Sitebuilder 4.2. The popular Application Vault is now browsable by category making it easier to find what you need.
A note to our monthly management clients: We are currently testing 8.4 updates on a number of servers. Once our testing is complete, we plan to begin rolling out Plesk 8.4 updates, likely within the next few weeks.
