Supported SystemsFedora CoreThe Fedora Project is a free, community supported, open source project sponsored by Red Hat. The Fedora Project was spun off from Red Hat Linux after support for the original Red Hat Linux was discontinued. Fedora values rapid innovation. With this in mind, Fedora generally has a new version out about twice a year. Fedora's short life-cycle does not make it ideal for clients interested in maintaining a server with the same OS release for more than a year or two. We strongly recommend RHEL or CentOS to our enterprise-server clients. We support all current releases of Fedora Core, including versions that have reached their end-of-life.
^The Fedora Project figures a support life of approximately 13 months after which time they recommend upgrading.
